Hi, I’m Ashwin Shetty đź‘‹
I’m a Business Analyst and AI Enthusiast with over 12 years of cross-functional experience spanning Community Banking, Clinical Trials, Hyperlocal Apps, and E-Commerce. While my professional journey has been rooted in translating business needs into technical solutions, my fascination with Artificial Intelligence started long before it became mainstream.
The Journey to AI
I’ve always been curious about how machines learn and adapt. Even before the AI hype cycle made resources abundantly available, I was exploring what little I could find—reading papers, experimenting with basic models, and imagining possibilities. When the generative AI boom arrived, it didn’t just validate my interest—it opened the floodgates to accessible learning materials, powerful tools, and a vibrant community of practitioners.
That’s when I decided to formalize my learning. I enrolled in the Executive Program in Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning at IIM Visakhapatnam (2024-2025), and I’ve been building my expertise through hands-on projects ever since. I’m also a certified Professional Scrum Master (PSM I) and Professional Scrum Product Owner (PSPO I), which helps me approach AI projects with a structured, iterative mindset.
What This Blog Is About
Yunaboy is my space to document what I’m learning, share practical insights, and explore the intersection of MLOps, Artificial Intelligence, and data analytics. You’ll find a mix of:
- Hands-on AI projects with working code and reproducible workflows
- Deep dives into AI concepts like memory systems, reasoning models, and attention mechanisms
- Paper explanations that break down complex research into digestible insights
- Reflections on the analytics workforce and how AI is reshaping how we work with data
I write for anyone curious about AI—whether you’re a fellow practitioner, a business professional exploring the field, or someone who just wants to understand what all the fuss is about. My goal is to make technical concepts approachable without dumbing them down, and to share real implementations that you can actually use.
Beyond the Code
When I’m not working with data or training models, I’m probably adding to my collection of comics and pop culture collectibles. There’s something about the storytelling in comics—the way they blend art, narrative, and character development—that resonates with how I approach problem-solving in AI. Both require imagination, structure, and a willingness to experiment.
Why I Started This Blog
I believe the best way to solidify your learning is to teach others. Writing these posts forces me to clarify my thinking, question my assumptions, and build things that actually work. But beyond personal growth, I wanted to create a space where learning happens in public—where I can share what I’m discovering, engage with like-minded people, and contribute something useful to the broader AI community.
If something I write helps you solve a problem, sparks an idea, or simply makes a complex topic click—that’s why this blog exists.
Let’s Connect
I’m always open to conversations about AI, data analytics, product development, or even comic book recommendations. Feel free to reach out through the contact form or connect with me on LinkedIn.
Thanks for stopping by. I hope you find something here that’s worth your time.
